It didn't print all I said, I will retype it, I am a beginner and I don't know what KFB is ...please explain so I can make this cute little mouse for my granddaughter. Thank you very much.

Hi Knit Picker! KFB is an increase stitch where you knit in both the front and back of the same stitch. A tutorial can be found here :

Happy knitting!

He is so very sweet.
Thank you for sharing your lovely pattern.
This is a REALLY cute pattern. And, so simple to knit. Should the ears be done in stocking stitch since you indicate the purl side should be facing forward?

Oh! You're right, you found my mistake, hah. Yes, they should be in stocking stitch, though I suppose it wouldn't really matter. I've been meaning to put up a little tutorial on how I made my ears, because I threaded the yarn downthrough the finished ear and pulled it to give it the round shape. Hopefully I will get to that soon....

Ohhh Rachel!!! You have made me soooo happy today! I found your webpage through Softie Making and I was so thrilled to read about Marisol the mouse pattern! My name is Marisol and a lot of people call me ratita (little mouse). I usually crochett and knit for my friends but I am going to do this little cutie for myself!!!!

Rachel -this is wonderful! I can crochet (taught by one of my daughter's nurses), but I can't knit. I'll have to learn just to make Marisol Mouse!

Marisol is adorable. In fact, my ten-year-old sister has requested her as a birthday present. I promised her that I would make it; however, it would be much easier if I knew the gauge. Is it possible for you to take a measurement?

marisol is SO CUTE!! i'm still wrestling with trying to keep my original 3 sts on the 3 DPNs without having the needles flipping or twisting, but i have 2 questions... 1) approx how tall is your mouse? (mine looks huge compared to your pics) and 2) on the head, after all the increases, i have a total of 29 sts.. after row 19's k2togs, i ended up with 14+1, and if i carry the extra stitch over to row 20, then i end up with 7+1.. your instructions say i should only have 7 sts left. did i mess something up somewhere? thanks again!!
